Create a Seeded Optimization Job: Quick Seed

Create a job as described in Unseeded Optimization. In Step 2, choose Quick seed:

1. Click the Define button, then, using the cursor, trace a path for the quick seed.

2. Double-click to stop the trace. After completing the trace it is possible to move the vertices of the quick seed in the same way as moving vertices for linear features, see Moving a features vertex.

3. Complete Step 3 through Step 5 in Unseeded optimization.

Note: A quick seed can only be used for a “Total” optimization.

Note: Once you submit the Quick Seed job for optimization the quick seed alignment will disappear from the Plan view.
