Alignment Properties

The Alignment Properties window highlights necessary information regarding the origin of the alignment, such as its name, the scenario it was generated in, and the type of alignment it is.

To view the Alignment Properties window:

• Click the Alignment Report icon on the Report tab. 

• Right-click in either the Plan or Profile view and select View Alignment Properties.

This opens up a dockable window that displays the following properties for the selected alignment:

• Alignment - the name of the alignment

• Original Scenario - the name of the scenario in which the alignment was generated

• Parent - the name of the Parent alignment if the alignment was generated from either a seed or is a customized alignment

• Job - the name of the OPB submission file used to generate the alignment

• Type - whether the alignment is a curvilinear (Pathfinder generated) alignment or customized geometric

• Seed -the name of the seed alignment if it is the result of a refinement

Note: for alignments generated by the optimizer, only the name can be altered in the Alignment Properties tab. All of the other options are locked and grayed out to maintain the audit trail of analysis.

Note: To view the geometric parameters of the alignments convert to editable and view the details in the Property window.
