Warnings Tab
In the Preference Settings window, select the Warnings tab.
From the Warnings tab, you can:
Select the level of warnings that appear in the Warnings window. You can choose to display Critical or Cautionary warnings.
The Critical tolerance group defines what warnings are critical and what warnings are cautionary. Enter critical tolerances for vertical clearances, grades, and horizontal and vertical curvatures.Â
If 0.1 m is entered in the Vertical clearance field and the crossing clearance is 8 meters, alignments that fail to achieve a vertical crossing clearance of at least 7.9 m generate a critical warning.
If 0.2 % is entered in the Grade field and the uphill design grade is 5 %, grades between 5% and 5.2 % would not generate a critical warning.
If 5 % is entered in the Curve field and the H Rad limit is 100 meters, curves with a radius between 95 and 100 meters do not generate a critical warning.
If 0.5 m is entered in the Land Mismatch field, alignments that have a variance of greater than 0.5 m from the DTM generate a critical warning.
