Unlocked/ Loced Templates
Unlocked and locked templates
As with scenarios, when a template is created it is unlocked, which allows it to be edited. Once a template is processed in a scenario, however, it will become locked and, as a result, it cannot be edited, moved, renamed, or deleted from the Templates Library.
To edit a locked template, the locked template will need to be duplicated and then modified. In the scenario, the new template will need to have its Template Materials mapped in the Cost Parameters and also need to be reassigned to the Geometric Parameters for it to be used.
Duplicate templates
Select the template to be duplicated from the list and right-click on the name.
Select Duplicate.
Note: When duplicating a template, the Template Materials will lose their costs and will need to be reassigned in the Template Materials tab of the Cost Parameters.
