LandXML format
Export an alignment in LandXML format
Select LandXML in the Export Alignments dialog. The Export Properties dialog appears.
Sometimes an alignment has straights or curves of zero length. If you want to export these select the Export zero length sections option.
Click the Units of measure tab. Select the units you want to export the alignment in.
Click the Cross section tab.
Select the Export Subbase check box to export the land and the finished sub-base. The following options become available:
Earthworks - Check Earthworks if you want to see the extent of the Earthworks in the exported cross-sections
Road Templates - Check Road Templates if you want to see the pavement and ditch information in the exported cross sections.
Bridge and Tunnel - Check Bridge and Tunnel if you want the bridge and tunnel cross-sections exported.
Note: If you don't select the Export Subbase option only the centerline of the alignment will be exported.
Click the Earthworks tab.
Select Earthworks if you want to export the footprint of the earthworks. A left and right string running on either side of the centerline showing the extent of the earthworks will be exported.
Click the DTM tab. If you want to export the alignment as a DTM select the DTM box.
Click OK.
Type the file name.
Click OK.
