Export Alignments

Alignments can be exported to various formats, easily allowing for the transferring of route options to other team members or project participants. You can export either a single alignment or multiple alignments to the export file. To export alignments, open the Export Alignments window by doing one of the following:

• Open the Alignment Review window (see Select Alignments), tick the alignments that you wish to export, and click the Export button; or

• From the Alignment Comparison window, select the alignments you wish to export, using [Ctrl] and [Shift] to select multiple alignments, right-click, and select Export.

• Select Export from the Report tab.

The following window appears:

Export the selected alignments to any of the following formats:-

• XYZ

• MX Genio

• 12D Model

• DXF-XYZ

• DXF-XY

• DXF-Z & Land

• ESRI Shape

• LandXML v1.0

• TerraModel PRO

• Google Earth

• UCWinroad v 3.4

If you select LandXML, Terramodel PRO, or Google Earth the Export Properties dialog appears. The export options will depend on the Export format selected.
