Waystations (object data)
Waystations are regions the alignment must pass through. A 2D waystation requires an alignment to pass within a fixed horizontal distance of a set of x,y coordinates.
Create a waystation
On the Insert tab, click the Waystation icon.Â
2. To place a waystation, click on the Plan view at the location of the waystation: hold the mouse button down and then drag the mouse outwards to define the horizontal radius. When you reach the required extent, release the mouse button.
Delete a waystation
Do one of the following:
In Plan view, select the waystation (either its center or the perimeter defining it). Right-click and then select Delete.
In Layer View, expand the layer containing the waystation. Right-click the waystation and then select Delete.
Edit a waystation
The properties of a waystation can be edited, providing it has not been used in an alignment optimization. Edit the waystation in the Scenario Explorer (Layer view tab), the Properties window, or the Plan View.
