Scenario View
When a scenario is loaded the Scenario View appears.
The user interface for the Scenario View includes:
The Menu gives you access to available commands. See Menus.
The Toolbars give you quick access to the most commonly used commands using icons. See Toolbars.
The Scenario Notes tab shows the same view of the scenario that is seen in the Project view, highlighting the data files that are used in that scenario as well as what submission files and results are available for the scenario. This is also where notes can be generated for the data files as well as the scenario.
The Explorer tab shows the list of all the feature data contained in the scenario.
The Plan window shows a plan view of the study area.
The Alignment properties display the parameters of the selected alignment. This window is available when viewing an alignment.
The Profile window displays the profile for the alignment. This window is available when viewing an alignment. Mass haul can also be viewed from this window.
The Cross Section window displays a cross-section of the alignment.
The View Finder is a small graphical representation of the study area which displays a box reflecting the current zoom and display level of the Plan View window. This allows for easy navigation of the Plan View when zooming in on small areas.
The Feature Properties window displays the features (such as crossing constraints) for a selected object.
The Legend window describes the colors and patterns used to display features of the study area.
The Status Bar displays a variety of information and is located at the bottom of the application window.
The Submission window appears when an alignment is being optimized.
Windows can be shown or hidden as needed. Most windows can also be docked anywhere on the display.
