Edit Vertical Alignments Manually

You can manually edit the vertical curves of an alignment only, keeping the horizontal components fixed in Plan view.

To edit an alignment in only the vertical, from the Scenario view do one of the following;

• Right-click in the Plan or Profile view and choose Duplicate as Vertical Editable Alignment.

• Click the Customizable Structures icon in the Alignment tab.

The node colors and editing functions are the same as those of the vertical component of an Editable alignment, see Manually Edit Alignments.

The naming convention is also similar, with vertical editable alignments having the ‘V_’ prefix and ‘_x’ suffix when required. See Naming Convention for Editable Alignments.
