View Finder

The View Finder window is a small graphical representation of the study area which assists the user in determining which section of the study area is being viewed when zoomed in at a very small scale. The viewfinder displays the terrain model for the study area and a black rectangle highlighting the current zoom extents of the Plan view. When the user is zoomed in on the Plan View at a very small scale, the black rectangle is replaced by cross hairs. The rectangle or cross hairs can be moved on the View Finder itself to update the display in the Plan View.
