Alignment Tab
In the Preference Settings dialog, select the Alignment tab.
From the Alignment tab, you can:
Enter the display width factor so that alignments can be drawn wider in the Plan View window than they actually are.
Select the ratio of vertical to horizontal scale on displays of the alignment in the Profile View window.
Caution: If Auto is selected, the zoom tools will not work in the Profile View window.
Set the Cross Section Interval to be displayed when for result processing.
Show or hide the alignment cost.
Include fixed costs in the cost of the alignment and display the fixed cost in the Alignment Summary window.
Show costs as percentage savings only. One alignment is used as a benchmark and other alignment costs are displayed as a percentage of the benchmarks alignment cost. A positive cost indicates the alignment is more expensive than the benchmark alignment. A negative cost indicates the alignment is cheaper than the benchmark. To set an alignment as a benchmark, right-click on the alignment in the Alignment Comparison window to access the shortcut menu and then select Benchmark.
Enter the distance interval for the reporting of the Source and Destination report from the Alignment Summary.
Enter the accuracy of duplication for converting curvilinear alignments to editable geometric alignments. The lower the value, the closer the generated geometric alignment will match the original, however, the alignment will be created with more IPs.
Select if you want to recost alignments automatically when they are edited. Clear the Recost Automatically checkbox if you prefer to make numerous edits and then recost manually. A recost icon appears when an alignment needs recosting.
Select if you do not want any Height Defined Structures.
Select if you want to display CO2 values in the reports.
