Import XYZ (String), 12D, or MXGenio
Follow the 3 steps above in the section Importing GIS/CAD data. After selecting the dataset to import, specify the measurement units of the source data.
2. Click Settings. The Data Import Setting dialog appears:
3. Select the types of data to import from the source type column.
4. Select how you want the imported data to appear in the Import As field. Select either feature, zone, or auto from the list.
5. Specify the layer for the imported data in the On layer field. You can add the data to an existing layer or create a new geographical layer for the data.
6. Click OK.
All data is imported as objects (features, zones, or symbols). Objects have the following default settings.
