Manual Editing of Alignments
You can select an alignment in an existing set and duplicate this alignment for manual editing. The ability to change both the horizontal and vertical position of a particular alignment gives the freedom to change almost any aspect of the alignment.
To duplicate an alignment for manual editing, from the Scenario View do one of the following:
Right-click in the Plan or Profile view and choose Duplicate as Editable Alignment.
Click the Editable Alignment icon on the Alignment tab.
A new geometric alignment appears. Quantm Desktop software will convert the curvilinear alignment into a geometric alignment based on the parameters outlined in the Geometric Parameters dialog box (see Geometry Data).
