Generate Reports

1. While viewing a single alignment, click Alignment Report from the Report tab. Once the Alignment Report window dialog is open you can change the alignment you wish to generate a report for by selecting another alignment.

2. Enter the start point (From) and finish point (To). By default, these are the end points of the alignment, and the reporting interval (Interval). The reporting interval options are dependent on the resolution of the underlying terrain model. The minimum reporting interval that can be defined will be 20 m or 50 ft.

3. If your project system units are metric you can view reports in imperial units, click the Convert to imperial units check box. If your project system units are imperial you can view reports in metric units, click the Convert to metric units check box.

4. Select the report type to generate. There are three types of reports:

• • Customized

  • Cross section

  • Summary

5. Click OK. A Save As window will appear where you can navigate to where you want to save the alignment report. You can export to various formats depending on the information being exported, as outlined below.
