Measure Distances
Use this tool to measure the accumulated distance along a line in Plan view:
Click the Measure Distance button from the General tab.
Click the required points to define the path to be measured.
The segment distance and the accumulated distance appear on the status bar. For example:
Tip: You can snap to the vertices of a feature or a zone boundary. Hold [Shift] and click close to the polyline you want to snap to. (If there is no vertex within 16 pixels, the measure tool will not snap to the vertex.)
4. To exit the measuring tool, press [Esc].
