Customized Reports

Customized reports can include:

• Position

• Land height and design height (Z). For road alignments, z is the height at the top of the crown. For rail alignments Z is the top of the earthworks. 

• Bearing and gradient 

• Horizontal and vertical curves

• Construction quantities

• Construction costs

Customized reports can be generated over the whole alignment or a nominated section at a reporting interval. The following example requests a report from 10,000 m to 100,000 m at intervals of 50 m:

Once you click OK, Quantm Desktop software prepares a CSV file, which you must then name and save to a spreadsheet application such as Microsoft Excel®:

For reports such as the quantities and costs of construction components, where earthmoving equipment and materials are organized over a larger scale, Quantm recommends that you use intervals of 500 m or longer:

The report shows both local and accumulated quantities and costs:

Note: If you export only XY and Z & Land height information you can save the file in either CSV, DXF, or TXT format. If you export all items excluding Quantities and Costs you can export to CSV or TXT. If you export all items you can only save in CSV format.
