Resolve Construction Conflicts
Different geographic objects at the same location may require different types of construction. For example:
A creek feature that requires a culvert crossing may lie within a zone that requires a bridge.
An alignment may need a bridge of type A to cross a floodplain, but then a bridge of type B to cross the river in the middle of the floodplain.
Quantm Desktop applies rules to resolve these conflicts. The rules set the construction type first and then the sub-type:
Conflicts Rule
Bridge AND structure or culvert > Bridge
Tunnel AND structure > Tunnel
Bridge type over feature AND Bridge type over zone > Bridge type over feature
