Follow the 3 steps above in the Import GIS/CAD data section. After selecting the dataset to import, click OK.
2. The Settings dialog appears. Select the units for the data you have selected to import. If your dataset is in ESRI Shapefile format, select label and layer details for your data. The layer settings you select will affect the next dialog. If you select Single layer in the Layer settings group you will need to apply the same settings to all data. If you select Separate layers by name in the Layer settings group then data on different layers can be assigned different Feature types and Zone types.
3. Click OK. The Feature Importer Layer Selector dialog appears.
4. In this dialog you can:
Select data to import by clicking the check box for layers.
Select the feature type for the data on the selected layer.
Select the zone type for data on the selected layer.
Import any closed-loop features as zones.
5. Click OK.
