In review mode, you can create avoid zones from the current alignment. By defining left and right margins from the centerline of the alignment, you can create:
A corridor from two avoid zones, one on each side of the alignment at distances specified by left and right margins. This confines searches to the defined corridor:
An exclusion zone that covers the alignment with a left and right margin from a specified centerline:
Click the Utility toolbar, or select Generate Corridor from the Utilities menu. The Generate Corridor dialog appears:
Select the required option, specify the margins, and click OK. The margins must be greater than 0.0 m.
Note: You can change the nature of a corridor zone after you create it.
Tip: To create a single avoid zone to one side of the alignment, create a corridor and then delete one of the avoid zones.
