Every result tells you something
Sometimes when processing, you will see results that are unexpected or undesirable. It is important in cases like this not to disregard these results, but in fact, to work through and try to identify why the results are doing what they are doing. Taking the time to understand why a result has done what it has done can reveal as much information as looking at a result set that has worked. It is also important to check everything that has gone into the scenario when checking results. While sometimes there are obvious issues in a scenario, this may not be the only issue in the scenario, and taking the time to check may mean time is saved later with subsequent submissions. When looking at undesirable results, it is important to understand how features have reacted with the geometric constraints, and also how costs have combined to impact the results. Of course, if there is a problem and you can't identify what is going on, don't hesitate to contact Trimble Planning Solutions to help identify what has gone on.
